Looks like it’s Chiefs and Buccaneers in the Super Bowl this year, so let’s take a look at some of the championship football players’ cars!

Over the past 55 years of the NFL Super Bowl, we as fans have witnessed commercials and networks sponsorships from plenty of different car manufacturers. Fox is giving away Terry Bradshaw’s new 2021 Ford F-150 he named “Birdie”, NBC has the Toyota Halftime show, and ESPN brought us those black and white Genesis Halftime Shows on Monday nights. I mean, NFL players have even won cars for being the MVP in Pro Bowls and Super Bowls. Everything from Chevrolet Camaros to Genesis G80s have been given to the best players. As for the Super Bowl itself, Hyundai has been the sponsor for the past couple years, but it looks like they’re backing out for this one.

But we’re not worried about who is sponsoring the Super Bowl this year. Instead, we’re going to look at some of the cars behind the players going to Super Bowl LV. While I was ready to write about Josh Allen’s Ford F-150 Shelby Raptor or Devante Adam’s Porsche Panamera, it looks like we’re looking at the GOAT vs the Kid as the Buccaneers take on the Chiefs in this Super Bowl. So, which football player’s car is the fastest? Who has the most expensive car? Who has the cheapest car? Will any of this relate to who wins? Probably not, but let’s look at a couple key positions and find out who’s driving what to the biggest game of the NFL season.

Buccaneers Football Players’ Cars

Tom Brady

The six-time champ is making his tenth appearance in the Super Bowl, but this time he’s playing on the NFC side of the ball with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His record-breaking career has spanned 20 seasons and he’s gathered some pretty substantial pay checks over the years. Like anyone with plenty of money to throw around, Tom Brady’s car collection is expansive. He has a Rolls-Royce Ghost, Aston Martin DB11, Land Rover Range Rover, Lexus GS 450H, Audi R8, Ferrari M458-T, and the fastest car among these players, a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. Now that’s only a sampling of his garage, but the main highlight is Tom’s very limited edition TB12 Aston Martin Vanquish S Volante. Only 12 were made making it the ultimate super fan collector’s piece.

Mike Evans

Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown, and even Scotty Miller have performed well with Tom Brady through the air, but Mike Evans has made quite the connection with the GOAT. While Evans can be a little aggressive and emotionally volatile on the field (especially against Marshon Lattimore), away from the field he’s a lot more family oriented. These different sides of Evans show in his vehicle of choice, a Lamborghini Urus. The Urus has an aggressive, sporty exterior with a 600+ horsepower engine powering the vehicle to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds. The luxury SUV also has great safety features, a wonderfully designed interior, and plenty of passenger and cargo room making it a great high-end family SUV.

Rob Gronkowski

Gronk came out of retirement just to play alongside his buddy Tom Brady down in Tampa Bay. The towering tight end can be found driving in his Mercedes-Benz S63, Audi Q7, Audi R8 (probably copying Brady), and a luxury Bentley Continental GT. The Continental GT is the big talking point here, as it carries a 6.0L W12 engine making 626hp and reaching 60 mph in 3.6 seconds. It’s not quite the fastest car from the Bucs, but Gronk is definitely riding in style being a Bentley.

Ronald Jones II is in his third year of professional football, but he only truly emerged as a lead running back this season. The young star has a fun taste in cars having had a Dodge Challenger, Lamborghini Huracan, and a Corvette ZR1. All of them high powered, tire burning two seaters. Definitely a different car thought process than his teammate Mike Evans.

Leonard Fournette

Fournette was once a staple in the Jaguars backfield, but he’s moved over to the Bucs (obviously for the better). The star running back had a luxury Mercedes-Maybach S600, but it sadly was rear ended and sold off. He’s now rolling around in a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, which has a super illustrious Rolls-Royce interior in SUV form. It seems Fournette is more interested in enjoying the ride than being the fastest one out there.

Devin White

White was a first-round draft pick last year and he’s shown he was worth it for the Buccaneers defense. Working as a duo alongside the veteran star Lavonte David, the pair have held up the run game of virtually every opponent. Devin White is just powerful defensive player and his vehicle of choice exemplifies that. A lifted Ford F-250 Platinum with a 6.7L PowerStroke V8 turbo diesel engine. While his truck looks like a show truck, White uses it as more of a farm truck helping tend to his horses.

Chiefs Football Players’ Cars

Patrick Mahomes

Patrick Mahomes is going into his second consecutive Super Bowl. The guy is just and abnormality on the football field and he should be well worth the money the Chiefs put into him. Mahomes is on track to receive over $450 million from his contract he signed this past year. What better way to handle a huge contract than to get some high-priced cars? He originally was riding around in a Genesis G70 that he won as the Pro Bowl MVP, but he recently upgraded to a Ferrari 812 Superfast GTS. This new Ferrari is known as the fastest production convertible right now and features a 6.5L V12 engine making 799 horsepower. He also got a more sensible Lamborghini Urus for his fiancé since he has a baby on the way. This is surely just the beginning of Mahomes car collection, so hopefully those State Farm commercials really are giving him a great insurance rate.

Tyreek Hill

Tyreek Hill is known as the “Cheetah” since he’s one of the fastest players in the NFL. Mahomes’ Ferrari probably seems more fitting for Hill, but his cars of choice don’t exactly translate to his football performance. Hill has a luxury Mercedes-Benz G 550 SUV and a customized Ford F-250 truck. Neither is going to accelerate as fast as he does on the field, but they’ll still be sure to grab your attention on the road.

Travis Kelce

Travis Kelce is one of the greatest tight ends right now. It isn’t just because of Mahomes though, he was a Pro Bowl MVP back in 2017 earning him a new Genesis G80. Besides his prize, his garage includes an Aston Martin Vanquish and a Mercedes-AMG G 63. Of all the football players’ cars on this list, I expected Kelce to have one of the largest vehicles in his garage, but it doesn’t look that way. Maybe he’s holding out for that monstrous GMC HUMMER EV in Chiefs red.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire

Clyde Edwards-Helaire is the rookie of the bunch, so entering the Super Bowl in his first year has to feel pretty good. Besides being the Chiefs future running back, the guy is also a gearhead. He’s been busy restoring a 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass in his spare time and has plans to add more cars to his garage. He’s said he wants to restore a 1967 Ford Mustang fastback from the ground up. I think starting on it in the offseason would be a nice treat to himself if he wins the Super Bowl.

Le’Veon Bell

Le’Veon Bell used to be the lead back of the Steelers, then the Jets, but now he’s landed in the Super Bowl with the Chiefs. When he’s not on the football field, Bell can be found in the studio creating music or filming music videos in one of his cars. He’s been seen in a Ferrari California and a Mercedes-Benz A-Class, but it’s hard to tell if he’s actually bringing those home or they’re just for a shoot. Otherwise, he can typically be found pulling up to practice in a Cadillac Escalade.

Tyrann Mathieu

Tyrann been one of the key factors leading the Chiefs on the defensive side of the bal. He’s in his eighth professional year now and has earned his third First-Team All-Pro selection of his career this season. Off the field, Tyrann has amassed some pretty nice cars including a Chevrolet Camaro, Rolls-Royce Wraith, BMW 550i, Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, and a recent addition of a Bently Bentayga luxury SUV.
