Cars of Super Bowl LVII

The Chiefs are back at the Super Bowl, this time against the Eagles. Take a look at some of the coolest cars from both teams!

Taking a Look at the “Kelce Bowl” Cars

The Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV with the help of Travis Kelce at tight end a couple years ago. The Philadelphia Eagles won Super Bowl LII with Jason Kelce at center. This year, those two teams are clashing at Super Bowl LVII with the Kelces on either end leaving a mom rooting for whichever team is holding the football. While the “Kelce Bowl” is exciting, we’re more interested in the cars some of these players have. We’ve already looked at the Chiefs players cars before, but we’ve got some different faces coming into this Super Bowl and some new cars added to familiar garages. Check out a couple of NFL superstars’ cars, automotive ventures, and one player that has a whole race team he runs.

Travis Kelce

One half of the “Kelce Bowl” is Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce. The greatest tight end of the decade already owns an Aston Martin Vanquish and a Mercedes-AMG G 63, but he’s added to his car collection since we last saw him in Super Bowl LV. Travis Kelce now has a special Land Rover Range Rover from Holland & Holland that makes the already bougie SUV even more exceedingly luxurious. He also has been seen driving a Rolls-Royce Phantom and a GMC Terrain from time to time. Not only that, but he has a pretty sweet 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible.

Travis Kelce’s love for cars doesn’t stop at his own collection though as the tight end is also a part owner of Club Car Wash, a car wash company that’s popping up throughout the Midwest. He’s using the company as an opportunity for fundraising efforts towards his community outreach program 87 and Running that helps serve underprivileged youth with more opportunities, enrichment, and advancement that they wouldn’t otherwise have access to.

Patrick Mahomes

Mahomes is another returning player from one of our other Super Bowl lists, and it’s sure to not be his last. The quarterback has a substantial contract that will have him leading the Chiefs for a long while. Mahomes’ most notable car in his collection is still the Ferrari 812 Superfast GTS he’s been cruising in for a couple years now, but that was supposedly gifted to his wife as a Mother’s Day present. It seems as though he’s moved on to a Ferrari F8 Tributo in its place.

His other cars of note are more practical choices from his garage given his growing family. The first is a Lamborghini Urus that packs plenty of horsepower to be happy with while hauling kids around. The other “family car” is a Rolls-Royce Cullinan that’ll keep all passengers in the lap of luxury. I’m pretty certain that Mahomes is on the top of a waitlist for the upcoming Ferrari Purosangue once it comes to market. It’d be a fitting addition to his already substantial collection.

Juju Smith-Schuster

With Tyreek Hill moving to the Miami Dolphins, there was a gap in the offense that hadn’t been there in a long time. Trying to fill that void at wide receiver is former Pittsburgh Steeler Juju Smith-Schuster. The USC product actually hadn’t ever driven a car until after being drafted. Juju eventually got his driver’s license in 2017 and since then has gathered a decent car collection. Juju’s been seen driving around in a Polaris Slingshot, Tesla Model X, and his BMW i8 that’s been wrapped in a number of different designs.

Kansas City’s new wide receiver also turned heads this season when he pulled up to a game against the Raiders in a one-of-one Lexus LC 500. The unique convertible was a collaboration between Juju, Lexus, and Adidas to promote the Marvel movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The car’s design took heavy inspiration from King T’Challa’s suit design featuring matte black exterior with polished patterns throughout, gold accenting, and a decal on the hood similar to the necklace worn by Black Panther. Adidas provided Juju with matching shoes and cleats to complete the look on and off the field.

Isiah Pacheco

Pacheco was a late round pick up by the Chiefs in this year’s draft, but his explosiveness out of the backfield has secured him a significant role in their offense. The rookie seems to be a Mopar fan as he’s been seen with a Dodge Challenger during his time at Rutgers and has more recently been seen with a Dodge Durango SRT. Pacheco might want to look into picking up one of those Last Call models as a gift to himself for having such a substantial rookie impact this season – even more so if he secures a Super Bowl win.

Orlando Brown Jr. is working to make an impact to step out of the shadow of his father, NFL Legend Orlando “Zeus” Brown Sr. Orlando Junior grew up with a father that had numerous luxurious cars and was picked up from school in models like the Rolls-Royce Phantom. With Junior now in the league himself, he’s been a bit more subdued in his automotive purchases even after signing a $16 million dollar contract. The offensive tackle has a ‘69 Chevy Chevelle SS and has been seen showing up to the field in a lifted Hummer.

A center on the offensive line may not be as big as other positions on the field, but there’s no denying that Jason Kelce is the face of the Philadelphia Eagles. The other half of the “Kelce Bowl” is a big guy with some big character. While his brother Travis may look at more exorbitant models, Jason Kelce is more of a truck guy. He grew up always loving trucks and burly vehicles like the Jeep Wrangler. After being drafted, one of the first purchases he made was on a big Ford F-150. Since then, Jason has decided he’s more of a Ram truck fan, but has been seen driving a 1986 Chevy C10 on occasion.

Jason Kelce’s love of trucks didn’t stop at just owning them, he also loves to modify them. That’s why he, along with a number of other NFL superstars including his brother, have invested in RealTruck. RealTruck is a pickup truck-oriented aftermarket brand that brings tons of accessories and parts to those truck loving enthusiasts. The brand along with some NFL stars has introduced The Trucket List, a series that brings fully kitted out trucks and gives them away to some American heroes.

Jalen Hurts

Jalen Hurts must be following the Chad Johnson playbook when it comes to money, because the quarterback is all about saving. When it comes to cars, Hurts picked up a used Chrysler 300 with low mileage back in college and one of the first things he did with his NFL contract money was pay it off. I can’t blame him really; he got that car for a good deal and will get plenty of use out of it. Hurts has also shown up in a commercial for a pre-owned Cadillac dealership in which he stated that he owns a pre-owned Cadillac from them. Twitter may have poked fun at him for the commercial, but the guy probably got that Caddy for free.

A.J. Brown

A.J. Brown is a newcomer to the Eagles after being traded during the draft from the Tennessee Titans. Looks like it’s panning out for the wide receiver as he’s the one in the Super Bowl this year. Brown’s car of choice throughout college and some of his NFL career was the Dodge Challenger, but his taste in cars has matured a bit. A.J. Brown now drives around in a Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 that made an appearance when he arrived at his first Eagles training camp.

Miles Sanders

Miles Sanders is the lead running back of the Philadelphia Eagles and seems to be a pretty big AMG fan. Sanders out does his teammate A.J. Brown by having the better performing version of his car, the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S. His other AMG comes in the form a Mercedes-AMG G 63. Sanders isn’t keeping the new car purchases to himself though. Sanders also bought his mom a Lexus LX 570 for Mother’s Day a while back.

Fletcher Cox

Fletcher Cox has been a dominant force for the Eagles since having been drafted by them in 2012. When the defensive tackle isn’t sacking quarterbacks or training for football, he indulges in his passion for cars. Cox’s older brother ran his own mechanic shop when Fletcher was a kid. His older brother pushed him to know the ins and outs of cars as a safety net just in case football didn’t work out. The brothers worked on and restored cars together including Fletcher’s “baby” which was a 1998 Pontiac Trans Am. Football has worked out for the Eagles superstar and it hasn’t hampered that love of cars.

Cox’s extensive garage includes luxury models like the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Lamborghini Urus, and Cadillac CTS-V, but he doesn’t stray away from the classics. Fletcher Cox enjoys restomodding some old rides like his ‘67 Chevy C10 that carries an LT4 engine under the hood and shines with show car quality all around. Being a big guy, Cox also can be seen driving big vehicles like his Jeep Wrangler, customized Ford F-150, F-250, or even bigger F-350. However, his real pride and joy is his drag racing team.

Cox used to drag race his Pontiac Trans Am himself, but decided that it was too dangerous to participate behind the wheel alongside football. So, he instead is the head of Cox Racing who have been winning drag races around the country. Fletcher Cox can be seen at drag racing events helping with prepping cars in the pits and even lining them up before a race. The Cox Racing garage includes the “Blue Beast” a twin turbocharged fox body Mustang, “Gold Dust” a fox body Mustang with a single giant turbocharger, a Radial vs the World blown ‘67 Ford Mustang, a world record holding Pro 275 blown ‘69 Chevy Camaro, and a Pro Mod Chevy Camaro.

Even if Fletcher Cox retires from football soon, you’ll be hearing his name for a long while in the world of drag racing.
