Kevin Hart is known for stand-up comedy, movies, and television, but he’s also a big car enthusiast. What does one do with a love of cars, celebrity status, and a good run of success on a variety of projects? Spend some of that money to beef up your car collection, of course! That’s exactly what Kevin Hart has done. Now, some celebrities have bad custom cars, but that’s not the case with Kevin Hart.

He’s got more than a dozen vehicles that range from 1950s classics to modern, one-of-a-kind customs, many of them worthy of being on a Top 10 Celebrity Cars list. Whether he’s sharing his prized possessions on social media, on his own car show, or on the streets of Calabasas, his collection gets attention! Here’s your look at the MVPs of his roster.

Kevin Hart gives nicknames to many of the vehicles he owns. He calls this particular vehicle, ‘The Dark Knight.’ Must be a fan of Batman? Crafted by Salvaggio Design, the 1987 Buick Grand National GNX (which was shown at the 2022 SEMA show) has a custom chassis and front fascia. Over the course of the eight-month build, designers added several body parts made of carbon fiber. The T-top roof shows off upgraded custom upholstery and a variety of modern digital instruments. It runs on a LF4 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 that makes 650 horsepower (hp). It doesn’t sound like The Joker would be getting away if Batman was driving this modified Grand National.

1964 Chevrolet Corvette

You’ll find out later on that Kevin Hart really likes Corvettes. This Corvette doesn’t have a nickname, but this restored red roadster is certainly deserving of one. It initially had a 5.3-liter engine, but it was replaced with a 6.2-liter LS3 crate engine from a 2008 Corvette. The result was a classic Corvette that delivered 430 hp and 424 lb-ft of torque. It sits on Nitto NT05 tires with new Forgiato wheels. Chrome reproduction bumpers were sourced, the underbody was coated with matte black paint, and, as you can see, the torch red paint job turned out great! After the NextGen Performance shop finished the restoration, Hart got in touch. It now sits in his garage in California.

1970 Plymouth Barracuda

‘Menace,’ as Kevin calls it, was (put together by) SpeedKore Performance Group. This Plymouth Barracuda is powered by a 6.2-liter HEMI V8 and 2.9-liter Whipple Supercharger, making 720 hp and 625 lb-ft of torque. The bodywork is all carbon fiber, from the hood to the fenders to the bumpers.

Even though the frame was reinforced, SpeedKore kept the curb weight at 3,400 lbs. All of the carpet, vinyl, and plastic were removed, leaving designers of the custom Barracuda a blank slate to work with. The rear seats were removed and placed with twin storage boxes instead. The high-backed front bucket seats were trimmed down, too.

Unfortunately, in 2019, Menace was involved in a single vehicle crash. Kevin Hart was a passenger at the time. The driver and all passengers recovered from their injuries. The Barracuda wasn’t so lucky. What was once a big part of Hart’s collection was significantly damaged.

1970 Dodge Charger ‘Hellraiser’

This is no normal 1970 Dodge Charger. No, ‘Hellraiser,’ has some work put in it, also courtesy of SpeedKore. The bespoke project showcases a supercharged 7.0-liter ‘Hellephant’ 426 HEMI that makes 1,000 hp through a hood cutout! It’s the most powerful crate engine offered by a major automotive manufacturer. The body (just like the Barracuda SpeedKore worked on) is made of exposed carbon fiber. On top of that are several layers of PPG gloss clearcoat.

Even though it’s an awesome build, for some reason, you don’t see much of it on Kevin Hart’s social media. Hopefully he at least takes it out every now and then. In the meantime, if you want to take a look at another SpeedKore Dodge build, be sure to visit our list of the Top 20 Fast and Furious Cars. Number 14 on that list may catch your eye!

1969 Plymouth Roadrunner

This one is known as ‘Michael Myers,’ but I’m not sure why. The Michael Myers character never drove a Roadrunner in any of the Halloween films. Regardless, it’s a nice car! Hart entrusted Salvaggio Design with bringing his 1987 Buick Grand National GNX to life, so he returned to them in 2022 for this Roadrunner. It started off with a 383 big block V8 with 335 hp and 425 lb-ft of torque, but ‘Mike Myers’ was given 7.0-liter HEMI V8 with a six-speed manual transmission. The Roadrunner engine upgrades, along with a Whipple supercharger, resulted in 940 hp. The car has even won a few awards for its street racing prowess.

Other mods include creating carbon fiber bumpers and using Brembo brakes. The inside makes almost as much of an impression as the outside with orange stitching (to fit the Halloween theme) and orange splatter on the black leather seats and on the headliner. The shifter was even converted to look like a knife handle. When Hart’s kids want to go trick-or-treating, he won’t have a problem figuring out which car to use.

1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500E

Kevin went the Gone in 60 Seconds route when he appropriately named this 1967 Ford Mustang GT500E ‘Eleanor.’ It’s one of the favorites in his entire roster of cars. That makes sense. After all, it’s a project that took two years to complete. Hart used Stealth Motorworks to complete the project from the bottom up. There are no stock parts in this Mustang, it’s performance parts all around, including a supercharged 6.9-liter V8 that puts out 650 hp. An automatic transmission was installed, and independent suspension was added to all four corners of the vehicle.

1977 Ford Bronco 4×4

OK, Kevin Hart may need a ladder to climb into this thing! He’ll be riding high when he gets behind the wheel, though. His custom 1977 Ford Bronco 4×4 is perfect for off-roading with its 17-inch Fuel wheels and 35-inch Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires. Not only is there plenty of ground clearance thanks to the lift kit, but there’s also plenty of power. Powered by a 5.0-liter fuel-injected 302ci V8, this Bronco can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 6.6 seconds. It maxes out at 120 mph. The one-of-a-kind Bronco also has reclining bucket seats up front, black leather with red stitching, and an LED speedometer.

1969 Chevrolet Camaro

Muscle, muscle, and more muscle! This 60s-era car is named ‘Bad News.’ Timeless Kustoms originally retromodded the 1969 Chevy Camaro long before Kevin Hart purchased it, but it was given a new coat of Satin black paint. The 6.2-liter LS7 V8 and Tremac six-speed manual transmission were kept. Two Turbonetics ball-bearing turbos were added to boost the power. It puts out 650 hp and a maximum of 680 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels. One thing is for sure: you’ve got to have some good fortune to add this ‘Bad News’ Camaro to your custom car collection.

2019 Ferrari SF90 Spider

Kevin loves muscle cars, but he also loves Ferraris. He owns five of them, including a 458 Spyder, a 488 GTB, a 488 Pista, and a Ferrari SF90 Spider. The SF90 Spider is one of his latest purchases, named after the Formula One racing car. It’s a $1 million mid-engine plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), the first hybrid production car that Ferrari released.

This supercar pulls power from a twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors for a combined total output of 735 kW. It does 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds! Ferrari’s first PHEV has a top speed of 211 mph, and Kevin Hart owns the first SF90 in the United States. It certainly looks sharp with its black finish, black leather seats, and small bits of yellow in the stitching, Ferrari logo, and brake calipers. With so many Ferraris, it must be hard for him to pick a favorite, but this one has to come close.

1959 Chevrolet Corvette

This is one good looking car! Named ‘Mint Condition,’ it’s a classic 1959 Chevy Corvette, complete with a Fanny-green finish and a cream-colored leather interior. It was restored and given a few updates, like Wilwood C7 14-inch rotors, stainless steel brake lines, and a 2020 LT1 6.2-liter V8 from a C8 Corvette. With a Supermatic 4L75E four-speed automatic transmission, ‘Mint Condition’ pushes out 460 hp. Hart claimed this ‘Vette at a 2021 auction in Arizona after placing the winning $825,000 bid.

1965 Ford Mustang

There are so many cool cars in Hart’s collection, that we can’t just stop at showing you 10 of them. Here are a couple more to marvel at. In 2020, Hart picked himself up a 1965 Ford Mustang convertible. It was a restomod by Revology. The engine was swapped for a Coyote crate engine. A push-button start function was added, and the chassis was tweaked. Also, the cherry on top was a fresh coat of black paint that made this Mustang shine. The entire process was documented on Kevin’s car show.

“When I’m driving that’s my first choice. I drive this car everywhere,” Kevin said after the work was complete. “I like to call this car a, ‘Daily Driver.’”

Porsche 911 Turbo S

Finally, let’s talk about Kevin Hart’s Porsche 911 Turbo S. You know it’s a favorite of his because he’s posted it several times over the years. It has a twin-turbo 3.75-liter flat-six engine that puts out 641 hp with 590 lb-ft of torque! The engine works with an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission to reach a top speed of 205 mph. Just 2.7 seconds is how long it takes to get from 0 to 62 mph. Like many of Kevin’s cars, this one has a shiny, black coat of paint on it. It looks luxurious from bumper to bumper and wheel to roof! You can catch a glimpse of it on the episode of The Nick Cannon Show where Nick wraps Kevin Hart’s plane with Nick’s face.

But Wait, There’s More!

Kevin Hart’s collection may not be one of the Most Insane Celebrity Car Collections, but, as you can see, it’s definitely up there. It’s hard to keep up with his entire fleet of vehicles these days. He’s got several Mercedes-Benz models (including a Mercedes-Maybach S-Class sedan, a G 65, and a SLS AMG), a GMC Yukon XL Denali, an Aston Martin Vanquish, and a 1966 Pontiac GTO in his garage, too.

This may be the end of your glimpse into Kevin Hart’s car collection, but we have plenty of other celebrity cars for you to marvel at. Browse the epic Jay Leno car collection, the legendary James Dean’s cars, or the exceptional Frank Sinatra rides, or the distinguished automotive tastes of the King himself, Elvis Presley.
